| My friend Lydia (R) has a duka (small shop) in Najile. She also is a teacher, helps run a small private school she founded with her husband, does hair for local ladies, and teaches Sunday school. |

| An inspirational trainer and MCC volunteer, the lady in the middle is a hero of mine. She and her husband left our team recently to return home due to a major diagnosis for her husband. We miss them already. |

| We had a random rainy season for 2 weeks (7 inches). Normally Feb is hot and completely dry, windy and dusty. You can see the blooming acacia tree in our yard. They bloom in anticipation of rain. I have no idea how they know its coming (especially when its completely unseasonal) |
