Annual Leave Malindi, Kenya Central Coast

The US government has a habit of generously issuing travel advisories due to local issues in various regions of Kenya and it has devastating affects on local economy, especially when it depends on tourists. However, it benefited us since we found a ridiculously expensive place to stay right on the ocean for ridiculously inexpensive cost for our week of annual leave. I like to think we were helping at least a little to contribute to the place being able to stay open. It was super quiet, which suited us just fine.
