We climbed the large mountain in the city a couple times up various gullies and in various weather conditions. This was a high-light. We enjoyed amazing views and lovely little spots along the way from hidden waterfalls, to places where the trail was right along the edge of the 2000 foot drop.
We traveled via the metro train down the cape to a small town that was home to a South African colony of penguins- bizarre little fellows. The train experiences was one way to rub shoulders with the locals and we enjoyed finding our way.
We couldn't say enough about the sweet Kenyan friends we met who helped us out in so many ways. We shared some meals with them and we were very blessed by their hospitality.
We've included a long string of pictures since they are worth a thousand words...

Ah, nice to hear a bit more about your visit and see the pictures. love you!
