| This door leads to our two small rooms and bathroom that is our home for the next two months. It is part of the Mennonite Guest House in Nairobi. The building dates back to colonial times and is surrounded by lovely gardens and green lawn. Tea is surved mid-morning and mid-afternoon. We eat in the small dining room and take tea at outside tables in the shade. It is simple, but beautiful. |

| The view outward toward the small garden in our corner of the grounds. We learned how to take the matatus to language school yesterday and today we did it on our own. We felt a bit accomplished as we arrived with 2 minutes to spare at the Anglican Church of Kenya language school. We'll have 4 hours of classes 9 a.m.-1 p.m. for the next 2 months. |
