I have an adopted niece who lives in Nairobi. Her parents are friends of ours from back in Minneapolis who also are working here in Kenya. Since my beloved nieces and nephews are so far away, I’ve been blessed to get to spend a lot of time (almost 2 times a month) with this little one who turns 4 this month. She is rather spirited, not unlike my own nieces and nephews, as you might imagine from the pictures. She is currently going through the challenge so many of us have had of losing her only child status as she gets to know her new baby brother.

Ah yes, Aunti's who are away from their own, always need a place holder (and neices/nephews who are away from their own do too). Glad you found one!
