Big Fat Thanks

 Thank You first to God for answering my prayer for help for our projects. And second to all those friends who've come by and made such a huge difference in our preparation projects:


- helping to cut and move massive pieces of our giant Elm that came down last year
-whipping out some beautiful landscaping steps and terrace to finish our anti-mowing-on-a-steep-hill project (something that would have taken me weeks of painstaking bent over work, not to mention mental anxiety)
-digging yards and yards of ditches all over our front and back yards to put in drainage pipes to keep our basement dry.
-back-breaking cement laying of parking pad to keep our renters from having to park in mucky ditches.
-and of course, shoveling and moving loads of dirt.

Yesterday a neighbor from our street with a gait marking his physical limitations beneath a limitless grin came by and said to Doug who was working in the front yard, "Why didn't you tell me you needed help digging ditches?!" He came over after lunch to lend his back and arms.
