The Chicken

One day Doug came home with a chicken under his arm. A generous neighbor lady gave it to him for helping her fix her water tank. Our next door neighbor agreed to keep it and try to "add some kg's" by feeding it their leftovers.  We were heading out of town the next day.

We returned and a few days later, we got a text message at 9:30 p.m. informing us that a wildcat has killed the chicken could he bring it over and put it in the fridge?  The next day he helped prepare the chicken, then Doug put his special Peruvian marinade on the whole thing and we grilled it outside on a makeshift grill over a fire. The neighbor parents were gone, so we had the whole crew of kids over for a chicken feast that night!
